My Background

Professional Journey

I started my professional life in a law firm in an administrative capacity. A college internship led to a position as an Assistant Child Life Specialist. Assisting in a Child Psychiatric Inpatient unit was meant to be a day of temporary help, but I felt drawn to the work and transferred to the unit in a non-clinical position. I remained for more than fourteen years.

Current Work

I returned to Psychiatry in a non-clinical capacity where I continue to work with Adolescents. This diverse background has given me a unique perspective on the challenges people face throughout different stages of life, and I'm passionate about helping others navigate their own journeys.
